The future is now. xPortal is coming to our phones on February 28, 2023, so it’s time to take a look at the app and what will change on our wallets. ⚡

Between the present and the future, there is only one application that separates us. 🔥

MultiversX aims to erase the limits between the “physical” world and the Metaverse, to create a bridge between these two universes. And xPortal will be the main gateway to the Multiverse(X).

Maiar App was just a non-custodial wallet allowing you to manage your cryptos, your NFTs and to connect to the different applications offered by the ecosystem.

xPortal will be much more than that, let’s go for a little room tour!

1/ The “Home” tab

- The Wallet

xPortal remains and will remain a non-custodial wallet, i.e. a wallet where you hold your funds because you are the sole owner of the seed.

You will be able to manage your cryptos, NFTs and staking directly in-app, like on Maiar App.

- The “Track” section

Very useful section that will be used to monitor your Wallet and your favorite cryptos, regardless of the blockchain. You will have the possibility to create whatchlists or portofolios

- Swaps

It will be possible to swap directly in-app! Very nice improvement from this point of view, no more need to connect to xExchange to do it.

- Cards

It was a huge demand from the community, and here they are at last: the maps! This is a major asset of MultiversX and xPortal. One of the key points for mass adoption of the ecosystem.

There will be 3 of them:

• The “Virtual Mint”
• The “Eco Night”, made from carbon neutral plastic
• The “Diamond Touch”, which is a metallic card

It will be possible to add your card to your “Apple Wallet” to make contactless payments directly with your phone or watch.

Adding funds to your card will be very intuitive and smooth, with several options available to you:

• Via your wallet
• By credit card, you can fund your xCard directly by credit card
• By bank transfer
• Or via Apple Pay

There has been very little information about it, but let’s not forget the rewards that the card will bring us! More information to come.

2/ The “Insider” tab

Here you will find all the news, articles and market data: market cap, Fear & Greed index, $BTC dominance, $BTC volatility…

3/ The “Play” tab

In this tab, you will be able to take part in a complete gamification of xPortal. Your 3D avatar will be your travel companion and it will be fully customizable. There will probably be a future use in xWorld as it will be able to travel between several Metaverses.

A private messaging system will also be part of the game, you will be able to chat with your friends from the real world or those you met in the Metaverse.

A leaderboard will also be available, you will increase your rank by completing missions that you find in-app.

4/ The “Hub” tab

This is probably one of the tabs you will use the most! This is where all the apps and other dApps in the ecosystem will be grouped and you will be able to connect to them in-app directly.

xPortal will be the reference Web3 application for mass adoption of the ecosystem and the Multiverse(X).

Don’t forget that there is currently a raffle going on to win $EGLD and MultiversX merchandise.

- 400 $EGLD and merchandise for the 1st prize
